ABOUT US
Our Brand & Values
Founded in 2022 on the beautiful island of Mauritius, Ozalée Beachwear is more than just a swimwear brand. It’s a celebration of women, their beauty, and their individuality, with designs made to ensure they feel comfortable and confident. Inspired by the gentle rhythm of island life, each piece is carefully crafted to combine timeless elegance with ultimate comfort.
Our values are built on three core pillars: quality, durability, and respect for the environment. We exclusively use high-quality Italian fabrics like Econyl®, an innovative material made from recycled waste such as fishing nets and plastics recovered from the ocean. By choosing Ozalée Beachwear, you’re making a responsible fashion choice without compromising on style or comfort.
Each collection is an invitation to cherish those special moments – whether it’s a sunny day at the beach, a poolside getaway, or a peaceful island escape. Our designs strike the perfect balance between modernity and femininity, with flattering cuts tailored to enhance every silhouette.
A Deep Connection to Mauritius
Ozalée Beachwear draws its essence from the rich natural beauty of Mauritius. Each creation reflects the island’s relaxed lifestyle, vibrant landscapes, and tropical colors, while respecting the environment that inspires us. Wearing Ozalée is like carrying a piece of this stunning island with you, wherever you go.
Sustainability
Why Econyl? Econyl® is at the heart of our commitment to sustainability. This innovative fabric is made from recycled materials like old fishing nets and plastics recovered from the oceans. It helps reduce waste while delivering exceptional quality and durability. By choosing Ozalée, you’re supporting a responsible approach to fashion while enjoying a swimsuit designed to last and accompany you in your most cherished moments.
What is ECONYL?
ECONYL is a revolutionary material developed by the Italian company Aquafill. It transforms synthetic waste from oceans and landfills into high-quality nylon yarn. This process involves collecting, cleaning, and shredding waste, then depolymerizing it to extract nylon. The result is a sustainable yarn that is as strong and durable as virgin nylon but far more eco-friendly. By choosing ECONYL, we contribute to a closed-loop system that minimizes environmental impact.
